NSCDC Vehicle Transporting Election Materials To Lagos Involved In Road Accident

In a report on NTA news, a vehicle belonging to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) was involved in a road accident on Friday evening, 24th of February 2023.

The vehicle was reportedly conveying election materials from Abuja to Lagos state when it got into the accident. No lives were reported lost in the accident. In the video shared by NTA News, the vehicle was seriously damaged as some officials believed to be members of the NSCDC inspect the wreckage. Check out the photos below.

Following the sharing of the development, many Nigerians on social media have knocked the authorities over the late movement of some of these election materials. Some of the social media users asked why the materials had to be moved by road from Abuja to Lagos when they could have made use of air transportation.

One of the users said: “Sorry about this but they had no this to get this all sorted out. I can’t believe by now materials are still being conveyed to Lagos all the way from Abuja and it’s even by road.”
