The spokesperson of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Festus Okoye has said that nobody has faulted the senatorial and the house of representatives elections that were conducted in the country in February
The INEC spokesman was speaking to journalist when he made the statement. In the video that was shared, he said that was a positive sign
He said the European Observer, in their report also stated that there were substantial, significant and fundamental improvement in the Conduct of the governorhip election and that was also a positive sign too
In the video, Okoye said “The European observer said that there were substantial, significant and fundamental improvements in the conduct of the governorship and state assembly elections. That is a positive sign. Nobody has also faulted the conduct of the senatorial and the house of representatives elections, that is for me another positive sign”
