Obi is challenging the outcome of the February 25 presidential poll at the tribunal, but Nnamani claims the petition lacks widespread support and uses non-electoral issues to malign Tinubu’s reputation.

Nnamani encourages Obi to drop his “dead on arrival” lawsuit and negotiate for the Igbo and South East’s fair share in the new Nigeria. He warns that failure to align may relegate the Igbo to history’s forgotten backwaters.
