Nigerians react as the newly printed Naira note gets bleached after it was mistakenly Washed

There’s a trending picture of a bleached N500 note that went to the washers and didn’t come back the same.

Switch Nigeria learned that a Twitter user who goes by the username @Fluffy_Naz said her sister mistakenly washed it together with her clothes.

Her tweet which was posted on Wednesday read, “my sis forgot the new currency in her pocket and washed it, this is what it turned out to! If rain drenches you and this money is your only hope, you’d be stranded!
