Dr. Alausa stated that both WAEC and NECO are expected to commence the administration of objective papers via CBT starting in November 2025, with full adoption, including essay components, by May/June 2026. He emphasized that this move aims to eliminate examination malpractices and align with global best practices.

A committee led by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, is currently reviewing examination standards nationwide, with recommendations expected next month to guide future reforms across all levels of education.
