English Premier League giants Manchester United are currently drilling their players in the Carrighton training complex as they prepare to travel for their 2023 summer preseason games. The Red Devils have a lot of games to play before the season kicks off, with Arsenal, Lyon, and Real Madrid among the fixtures. After their first game against Leeds United, Manchester United will face Lyon at Muurayfield, Edinburgh, Scotland.
Last season, Manchester United lost two of their opening games in the premier league, which slowed down their performance. Ten Hag wouldn’t want that to happen again. Almost all the fixtures of the preseason games have been set and dated with the Red Devils set to begin their adventure in the United States of America.
The Red Devils new signing Mason Mount is expected to join his new teammates for the trip to America, where they will face some top teams in Europe. Lyon could be his first game in a United shirt after concluding his medical at the Carrighton training complex. United are also interested in bringing in a new goalkeeper after De Gea’s contract expired this summer.
A centre forward is also on their list, but their targets could join the team in the latter stage of the preseason. However, here is how they could lineup to beat Ligue 1 giants Lyon.
