Mohbad: Court grants Naira Marley and Sam Larry bail
A magistrate court sitting in Yaba has granted singer Naira Marley and socialite Sam Larry bail following their arrest and remand for over a month following an investigation into the death of rapper Mohbad.
The bail fee was set at 20 million naira, and the judge who granted the bail mandated other conditions that must be met before the bail was granted. Some of such conditions were that the suspects submit their passports and also make weekly appearances to the state CID as investigations into the strange circumstances surrounding the death of Mohbad continues.
The presiding judge, Adeola Olatunbosun, stated, “As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.”
She also added, “Any attempts to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.”
