A popular Nigerian politician, David Bwala of the People’s Democratic Party PDP has taken a swipe at the present condition of things in the country and claimed that the people from the ruling and opposition party are lamenting and pretending that all is well.

According to him, what seems to be dominantly common in the current situation facing the nation is that everyone appears to be bearing the pain irrespective of the party individuals are supporting.

In conclusion, the former Presidential spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar / Ifeanyi Okowa campaign council who seems concerned however stressed that the moment Nigerians understand what needs to be done, the country will be free from ethnoreligious politics which have become the way of life.

As you all know the announcement of the fuel subsidy removal by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu which resulted in the hike in Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) likewise led to the rise in prices of transportation, goods, and services etc that appears to have made the cost living difficult for the poor Nigerians.

One common denominator is suffering; everyone is suffering. The day we realize that our freedom will come. Ethno-religious politics is the opium of the masses”.
