- Official swearing-in ceremony to take Place at Abuja’s Eagle Square: The Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, is set to host the official swearing-in ceremony of the Inauguration Day.
- Outgoing President and Vice President to bid farewell: The departing President and Vice President will bid their final farewells on this significant day.
- Chief Justice to ddminister Oath of Office to President-elect Tinubu:
President-elect Tinubu will take the oath of office, administered by the Chief Justice, thereby assuming the role of the new President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. - Tinubu to inspect Guards of Honour after swearing-in: Following his official swearing-in, President Tinubu will inspect the Guards of Honour, a customary practice.
- Handover of colors and instrument of office: The immediate past President will hand over the new colors and the instrument of office to President Tinubu, symbolising the transition of power.
