Manchester City Beat Sevilla on Penalties To Win Uefa Super Cup

Manchester City have won the 2023 UEFA Super Cup, defeating Sevilla 5-4 on penalties after the sides had fought out a 1-1 draw in Piraeus, Athens.
A second half strike from Cole Palmer cancelled out Youssef En-Nesryi’s first half opener for the Spaniards to set up the spot kick shoot-out.

And, after five successful penalties for City, a miss by Sevilla’s Nemanja Gudelj secured the prestigious prize for Pep Guardiola’s side after a clash played out at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium, home of Greek side Olympiakos.
