Lagos residents have taken to the streets to protest the sharp rise in house rents and the exorbitant fees charged by real estate agents.
The protest, which quickly gained attention across social media platforms, saw protesters carrying banners with messages such as, “Enough is enough, we say no to overpriced house rents. We say no to housing agents. Agents of darkness.”
