Odunuga-Bakare also highlighted ongoing engagements with landlords, property associations, and developers to promote fair pricing and responsible development. She urged residents to report any violations directly to LASRERA, either in person or through digital channels .
In addition to these measures, the state government plans to enforce a monthly rental policy. This policy aims to alleviate the financial burden on tenants who currently pay annual rents upfront. The government intends to pilot this scheme within the public sector before extending it to the private sector.
