Kanu speaks on alleged endorsement of Tinubu

Former Super Eagles striker, Mr. Nwankwo Kanu has described as fake, the report that he endorsed candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, one of the 18 presidential candidates for the February 15 general election.

He said he is not in a position to decide who Nigerians should vote for but that they should go and vote for the best candidate. “You know who the best candidate is”, he said.

Kanu threatened to take legal action against media organisation

“Hello my country people. Do what is right and vote. Kindly stop spreading fake news in my name that I ask you to vote for anyone. I am not the one to choose who you will vote for so stop this rubbish with my name and go and get your PVC and vote.

“Any media outlet or persons or group of persons that continue to use my name to spread fake news will be dealt with in the court of law. Let’s all be guided”, he said.
