IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu Seek End To Violence In South East
Kanu, who is in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), conveyed the message through his lawyers during a visit to him.
He said the enemies were relentlessly exploiting the people and recruiting criminals to destroy Igboland and blame it on IPOB.

IPOB spokesman Emma Powerful, in a statement, said Kanu also warned those who claim to be IPOB members and his disciples to desist from being agents of destabilisation.
He said: “Our enemies plan to destabilise Igboland using IPOB and ESN’s (Eastern Security Network’s), but they have failed woefully because we have defeated them completely.”
Kanu urged IPOB leadership to ensure that “our land is peaceful”.
“ESN operatives should focus on making our land peaceful and crime-free.
“Anybody seen or caught kidnapping, snatching people’s cars, or terrorising our people in any way should be dealt with,” the statement quoted Kanu as saying.
