Speaking on the ongoing court case, of which the Labour Party filed a petition challenging the outcome of the 2023 February Presidential election, one of the legal counsels to the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Gregory Obi, has revealed that a witness presented by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), stated that only 31% of the 2023 presidential election result uploaded on the INEC Server, is mathematically accurate.

Speaking the AIT Network, the legal counsel said: “We are very happy, that today, the final report of an international observer group, accredited duly by INEC, that is the European Union Observation Mission, their final report was today tendered and admitted in evidence by the court.
“And you see that the witness who came from INEC, a director, read out the findings in that reports, which clearly stated that the election fell below expectations, and that only thirty-one percent (31%), of what was reported was mathematically accurate. So, we think that this is a very good one”.
