A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, and a former Executive secretary of Ojodu Local Council development area, Mallam Ahmed Moyosore Jaji has alleged that INEC had outsmarted politicians by not uploading results to the IReV in the Presidential election. He said in an interview with Sun paper that there were conspiracies to manipulate the BVAS in favor of the opposition parties. According to him, INEC did a good job in ensuring that the strategy faltered before the election. He also identified that some party leaders were aware of how hackers were appointed to hack into the INEC server.
He said, ”People may accuse me of bias because I am an all Progressive Congress APC member but I think what happened was that the Independent National Electoral Commission. [INEC] outsmarted the politicians. Intelligence reports suggests that there were sinister plots to manipulate the Bimodal voters accreditation system [BVAS] by some political parties. So that whatever INEC uploads to the IReV, the BVAS will download different things that will favor those behind the manipulation.”
