Shehu Sani, a former senator for Kaduna Central, has taken on his verified Twitter page to say Increasing the tax on Alcoholic drinks is very good, but bad for carbonated drinks.
The outspoken activist, Shehu Sani took to his microblogging, Twitter to some minutes to say Increasing the tax on Alcoholic drinks by the Federal government was very good, but was bad for carbonated drinks.
However, Shehu added to his statement by advising those that consume alcoholic drinks to stop the habit and free their souls or patronize local alcoholic drinks.
While for people that consume carbonated drinks, Shehu Sani advised that they can also switch to other healthy drinks like oranges or pineapples.
In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote below:
“Increasing tax on Alcoholic drinks is very good; drop the habit and free your soul or patronize the local one. Increasing tax on carbonated drinks is bad, but you can also switch to healthy ones like oranges or pineapples.”
