I Replied Seyi Tinubu With My Song, I Didn’t Attack Him – Eedris Abdulkareem

Nigerian rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has clarified that his song “Tell Your Papa” was not intended as a personal attack on Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu. In a recent interview, Abdulkareem explained that the track was a response to Seyi’s public praise of his father as Nigeria’s “best-ever president.” The rapper emphasized that his song aimed to highlight the country’s pressing issues, such as insecurity, unemployment, and economic challenges, urging Seyi to convey these concerns to his father. Despite being banned by the National Broadcasting Commission for allegedly violating broadcasting codes, the song has gained significant traction on social media platforms. Abdulkareem, known for his socially conscious music, continues to use his art to advocate for better governance in Nigeria
