In an exclusive interview, JAMB spokesperson Dr. Fabian Benjamin revealed that the candidate, Ejikeme, had gone to the extent of manipulating a text message sent to her by JAMB to hide her true UTME result. JAMB stated that its investigation indicated that Ejikeme had changed the score of another candidate, Asimiyu Mariam Omobolanle, from 138 to 362 using information from Omobolanle’s bio.

However, in a video response, Mmesoma stated that she had printed her score from the JAMB portal and claimed that she was unable to falsify her score. She mentioned being a consistent top student since her elementary school days. Mmesoma also revealed that she had been called to the police station for questioning, and the episode had caused her significant distress.
