I Left the Yoruba Movie Industry After Spiritual Attack Left Me Unable to Walk for 2 Years – Actor Branch
Nigerian actor Branch has opened up about a dark chapter in his life, revealing how a spiritual attack forced him out of the Yoruba movie industry and left him unable to walk for two years.
In a recent interview, Branch shocked fans with the revelation that his exit from the industry wasn’t by choice, but due to a mysterious spiritual encounter that affected both his health and career.
“It started as a strange illness. I couldn’t explain it. Before I knew it, I was bedridden—unable to walk for almost two years,” he said.
The actor, who has since made a return to the screen, noted that he strongly believes the attack was spiritually motivated and tied to his involvement in the Yoruba movie scene.
“Some forces in the industry didn’t want me to rise. I was warned, but I didn’t take it seriously until it happened,” he added.
Despite the traumatic experience, Branch says he has forgiven those he believes were behind the attack but remains cautious about where he works and who he surrounds himself with.
“God restored me. But I learned the hard way that not all that glitters is gold. The entertainment industry can be very dark.”
Branch now focuses on broader Nollywood projects and personal ventures outside the traditional Yoruba film circuit.
