Ubah expressed confidence that Kanu will soon be released from detention, assuring the public that lawmakers are working tirelessly to facilitate his release.
Speaking passionately on the occasion, Senator Ubah emphasized the commitment of the 10th National Assembly to ensure justice and fairness for all citizens. He disclosed that he himself took the initiative to explore new legislative options that could facilitate Kanu’s release, showing the parliament’s firm will to quickly deal with the situation.
Prominent pro-Biafra activist Nnamdi Kanu has been in prison for a long time, causing widespread concern and calls for his release both domestically and internationally. Ubah said, “I am sure he will be out of prison very soon. We in the 10th National Assembly will give Kanu’s case another legislative opportunity to facilitate his freedom, and I have even personally initiated a step in that direction.”
