I Am Visiting Churches For Prayers Not Campaign – Peter Obi
As the election period approaches, Nigerians’ reactions to Peter Obi being spotted attending various churches have been mixed.
Through his campaign organization, Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, has informed Nigerians that his attendance at various churches is not related to politics.
According to report, Obi only visited churches to ask for prayer requests for his candidacy, not to engage in campaigning. He never gave a kobo to a pastor or a church.
The fact that Peter Obi responded to those who claimed he attended churches for political purposes will help to lessen the impact of propaganda that would affect his desire to run for president.
Nigerians should therefore ensure they cast their votes impartially so that the best leaders will emerge in 2023.
