GOV ELECT: Seyi Makinde Lead As He Clears 11 LGAs In Oyo State
In the recently concluded governorship and State House of Assembly election, the Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, the victor in each of the 11 Local Government Areas that have so far been announced.

• Ona-Ara Local Government:
Accord – 1,212 votes
APC – 5,510 votes
PDP – 17,326 votes
• Ibadan North-West Local Government:
Accord – 1,291 votes
APC – 5,947 votes
PDP – 19,007 votes
• Ibarapa East Local Government:
Accord – 1,885 votes
APC – 7,094 votes
PDP – 11,125 votes
• Afijio Local Government:
Accord – 1,357 votes
APC – 5,588 votes

Accord – 1,113 votes
