A former Nigerian Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce is reportedly set to buy a flying electric car as he placed a preorder, which he announced on his social media page.

The former lawmaker on his social media page announced that he has placed a preorder for Alef model, the first United States Federal Ation Administration approved flying electric car. He shared pictures of the car, which reportedly cost about 300, 000 dollars, together with the proof of his preorder.

According to him, he has been an advocate of electric vehicles over the years, and he was proud to be the first owner of one such vehicles in Nigeria, kick-starting the revolution in the country.

However, people have been reacting to the news, congratulating the man over his acquisition. Some, on the other hand, were doubting if the country is ready for such, considering the state of electricity in the country.

Ben Murray-Bruce is a businessman, philanthropist, and politician. The 67-year-old was a senator from 2014 to 2019, representing Bayelsa East in the national assembly.
