Former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has disclosed the exact amount he receives as a monthly pension for his previous role as the state’s governor. In addition to revealing this information, he has also requested the suspension of his retirement benefits.

Otunba Gbenga Daniel served as the Governor of Ogun State for two consecutive terms, representing the Peoples Democratic Party. After his tenure, he was succeeded by Senator Ibikunle Amosun, a member of the All Progressives Congress.

In a letter addressed to the Governor of Ogun State, the contents of which have been duly acknowledged and stamped, Otunba Gbenga Daniel expressed his inability to continue accepting such financial remuneration with a clear conscience.
