Festus Keyamo reacts to Tinubu’s mistake in Jos campaign, reveals the meaning of PDAPC

The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu sparked mixed reactions following a mistake he made during the APC campaign rally in Jos. The former governor of Lagos state mistakenly tried to pray for the opposition party, PDP while addressing supporters. In a video making rounds online, the presidential candidate of APC was heard saying “God bless PD..” before realizing his mistake and quickly changing it to APC.

A spokesperson of the All Progressive Congress, Festus Keyamo reacted to the mistake made by the former governor of Lagos state in a post he made on his official Twitter handle. The Senior Advocate of Nigeria explained the meaning behind the “PDAPC” that Tinubu was referring to during his speech.

His post goes: “PDAPC means People Decamping To APC. God bless People Decamping To APC.” Recall that another APC spokesperson, Fani-Kayode claimed that Tinubu was following the teachings of the Bible by praying for the opposition party.
