The AYCF National President Yerima Shettima signed a statement stating that nominating Faleke was crucial due to his loyalty to Tinubu and his skills in managing the relationship between the President-elect, government officials, and the rest of Nigerians.
The group said Faleke could build a cordial relationship between the executive and legislative arms of government in the new dispensation.
The AYCF considered Faleke as a representative of the emerging political class in Nigeria, politically astute, and intellectually vibrant.
They noted that the Presidency needs a Chief of Staff in tune with the modern system of democratic governance, which Faleke embodies.
While some names like Babatunde Fashola, Dele Alake, and Femi Gbajabiamila have been suggested to fill the critical role of Chief of Staff, the AYCF believes Faleke is the best fit for the position.
