Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that he feels sorry for attacker Christopher Nkunku.

Pochettino said this while opening up about Chelsea’s transfer plans amid a knee injury to Nkunku.

Speaking to the press ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League tie with Liverpool on Sunday, Pochettino said (via Football.London): “We feel very sorry about him [Nkunku]. He was very important to us.

“Now it is about not thinking too much about the injuries and to be positive about when he can be back with us as soon as possible.”

He added, “We are working in the market also, trying to find a solution, maybe short term, medium and long term to find the right profile for the team.”CONTINUE READING
