Kenneth Okonkwo, one of Mr. Peter Obi’s lawyers and the former Spokesperson of the Labour Party’s presidential campaign council, took to Twitter to express his disappointment that the Independent National Electoral Commission had failed to provide any witness at the resumption of the hearing today in court.

Electoral body was expected to open their defense after a week break. t

It would be recalled that that Mr. Peter Obi’s legal team was allocated some weeks to present their arguments before the presidential election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja.

Kenneth Okonkwo, commenting on today’s court proceedings, said that INEC had not been well prepared. 

Hear him “Must INEC continue to have “technical problem,” even in their own case? What a waste of petroleum, the price of which the APC administration in Nigeria has jacked up so high that average Nigerians like us can no longer afford it. The hearing on the petition has been postponed to Thursday, July 4, 2023.”
