DJ Switch Boasts About “Roasting” Wole Soyinka During A Panel Discussion
The controversial influencer who was one of the strongest voices of the Endsars movement and a fervent supporter of Peter Obi and Labour Party took to the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, to state as follows;
Was a panelist at an event over the weekend and just before the event started, we all got talking about African writers and of course Nigeria’s contribution. Someone brought up Wole Soyinka (whose works are quite exceptional if I might add)… and I was given the floor 😈.
Brethren… I would like to let you people know that I did not let one bullet go astray! Wole Soyinka unlike many of his counterparts chose to be completely separate from his works and also chose to display his bigotry and myopic thinking these past few months. This comes after Wole Soyinka said the leadership of the Labour Party (LP) knew that Peter Obi lost the February 25 election
Speaking at an event which took place in Stellenbosch, South Africa, Soyinka said: “Peter Obi achieved something remarkable there, that he broke that mould. However, he did not win the election.
“I can say categorically that Peter Obi’s party came third not even second and the leadership knew it but they want to do what we call in Yoruba ‘gbajue’, that is force of lies.”
