Daniel Regha Opposes Davido’s Invitation to Perform at The World Cup
Controversial media critic Daniel Regha, has condemned Nigerian singer Davido for planning to perform at the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar, barely a month after the death of his son Ifeanyi.
The critic said that David had postponed his AWAY festival by a year hence he ought to honor the arrangement of waiting for a year before performing.
Regha claimed he meant no offense when he said Davido shouldn’t have changed his mind simply because he’s feeling better. He tweeted that the decision wasn’t smart.
He wrote:
Davido will be performing at the World Cup closing ceremony (reportedly), glad he’s feeling better but I dan’t think that’s a smart decision since he already postponed his A.W.A.Y festival by one year; He should stand by his decision & decline any offer till next yr. No offense.
Meanwhile Davido’s appearance was announced by Chinese millionaire Stephen Hung who said the artiste had confirmed he’d be live in Qatar.
