The Grammy-winning artist Damini Ogulu, better known by his stage as Burna Boy, has admitted that his favorite birthday memory is of being brought as a youngster to a playground to see the iconic Nigerian musician Daddy Showkey perform.
He revealed this in a recent conversation with Apple Music’s Ebro.
The Port Harcourt born singer claimed that his ‘Love, Damini’ sixth studio album, which was released around his birthday last year, was a replica of his joyful birthday experience as a child.

“The first time I saw Daddy Showkey perform as a youngster, I was escorted to a kids’ park, and that was my favorite birthday ever that I can recall in my life. In my album, I kind of wanted to reproduce that.
