A legal practitioner and spokesperson to Atiku campaign, D.H. Bwala has taken to his Twitter page to react as INEC was unable to open a defence over the witness’ absence at the tribunal.

It was reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday in Abuja began its defence of the February 25 presidential election on a shaky note, with none of its three witnesses present at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC).

The absence of a witness on Monday, prevented the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to open its case in the petition.

While reacting to this report, David Bwala tweeted some minutes ago, on his microblogging, Twitter page to say the confusion of the Independence Electoral Commission’s efforts with their witnesses and the reason their witnesses may be singing Davido’s song “Am unavailable” was not far fetched.

According to the statement made by Bwala, he made it known by asking how can INEC certify a document to the petitioner and come to court and object its admissibility.

However, Bwala added to his statement by saying that CTC means the document is authentic, appropriately issued by them and it represents its content.

On that note, Bwala concluded his statement by saying it goes to the foundation of the whole structures.

In his tweet, he wrote below:

“The confusion of INEC’s struggles with their witnesses and the reason their witnesses may be singing Davido’s song “Am unavailable” is not far fetched; How can you certify a document to the petitioner and come to court and object its admissibility? CTC means the document is genuine, properly issued by us and it represent its content. It goes to the foundation of the entire structures.”
