Maxwell Okpara, Nigerian Lawyer, said that Senator Bulkachuwa wanted to start mentioning the names of all those his friends that he influence are wife to help when she was appeal court President but Ahmad Lawan, cut him short.
Maxwell Okpara made the statement in an interview with AIT during the Kakaaki program when he was asked that with the election petition going on in court, can Judiciary be trusted going by what Bulkachuwa said?
The statement made by Adamu Bulkachuwa on the floor of the Senate, that he encroached upon his wife, when she was appeal court president to favour his friends, has since been generating reactions and seizing to stop from public discourse.
However, Maxwel Okpara said what Bulkachuwa said is what he called an honest statement which he feels that was the right place and time for him to confess.
“Mind you, he did not say this thing when he was addressing the Press, kinsmen, he told the entire world because the entire world was watching the valedictory service of the senate.
“To my surprise, Ahmad Lawan, the man wanted to start mentioning names of all those his friends that he influenced the man to give judgement in favour and he(Ahmad Lawan) cut the man short. Maybe Ahmad Lawan is suspected to be one of the people the man wanted to mention.”
