Former Senator Shehu Sani has criticized the former president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, describing his eight-year tenure as a waste and referring to him as the worst ruler in the country’s history. Sani made these remarks during the launch of the book titled “The Nigerian Dream” in Abuja, written by activist Moses Paul.

According to Sani, Buhari wasted Nigeria’s time during his presidency and appointed individuals who failed in their respective roles. He expressed disapproval of Buhari’s decision to extend the tenure of such individuals despite their underperformance, considering it to be a significant mistake.

Sani further highlighted the irony of Buhari’s government accusing previous administrations of corruption while his own government has been widely criticized as one of the worst in Nigeria’s history. The senator’s comments reflect his dissatisfaction with the leadership and governance under Buhari’s presidency.
