Sani Yerima is the former governor of Zamfara state. He was live on Arise and he talked about bandits in Nigeria and he shared his reasons why some human being become bandits. According to the news shared by Arise on twitter, Sani Yerima said that president Bola Tinubu is considering a quick resolution security challenges including the option of dialogue with bandits terrorising the Northern part of the country.
Sabi Yerima is not happy with the way bandits are killing innocent people, and he wants the government and president Bola Tinubu to take drastic action before the issue escalates. He also said that he believes the Nigerian government, militaries and security have the capacity to deal with the bandits immediately they are directed to take action.

He also said that if they are given the support and the necessary things they require, but some certain things should be avoided. Sabi Yerima made a statement saying;
“The main problem bandits are facing is poverty and ignorance. You cannot find an educated human being to take a gun and kill an innocent soul just because of food”.
