Asari Dokubo, a former niger-delta militant, went live on Facebook in the early hours of morning to talk more about his background.

According to Dokubo: “I have never denied being an Igbo man. You can watch the interviews I had over ten years ago on channels television and NTA to confirm that I have always said I have Igbo blood flowing in my vein. My Igbo name, which I inherited from my father, is Uzodinma. I even went to Ohafia to marry an Igbo woman and also named by son Uzodinma too.”

While speaking, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo expressed, “As members of the Igbo community, it is crucial for us to reflect on why individuals are increasingly choosing to settle in Yoruba territories rather than our own. We must focus on personal growth and avoid denying the reality we live in.”
