Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has nominated two of former Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s ex-aides as commissioners.

The duo appointed by Adeleke are Kolapo Alimi, who was Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and Biyi Odunlade, who was Special Adviser and Commissioner for Sports during Aregbesola’s tenure.

PM news report that, The appointments of the ex-aides lend credence to the fact that Aregbesola’s camp backed Adeleke during the last governorship election in Osun.

PM news report that, On Friday, the governor’s 23 commissioner nominees were read out on the House floor by Osun State House of Assembly Speaker Adewale Egbedun.

Also on the list read out by Egbedun are: Mrs Ayo Awolowo, Wole Jimi Bada, Dipo Eluwole, Rasheed Aderibigbe, Prof. Morufu Adeleke, Adeyemo Ademola, Olabiyi Odunlade, Jola Akintola, Mayowa Adejorin, Mrs Folashade Adeleke, Tola Faseru and Ganiyu Olaoluwa.

Additional names include Oladosu Babatunde, Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe, Sesan Epharaim Oyedele, Soji Ajeigbe, Moshood Olagunju, George Alabi, Sunday Oroniyi, Abiodun Ojo, Dr. Basiru Salami, Morufu Ayofe, Sola Ogungbile, and Rev. Bunmi Jenyo.
