Recently, a Nigerian woman who sells kulikuli (a local snack) publicly appealed to President Bola Tinubu to intervene after losing her investment in CBEX, a platform accused of defrauding Nigerians of over ₦1.3 trillion. The emotional plea gained widespread attention, prompting a response from Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM).
In her statement, Dabiri-Erewa expressed deep sympathy for the woman and others affected by the CBEX scheme.
