During a recent inspection, Commissioner for Information Okey Kanu highlighted several deficiencies:

Only the first floor is completed and furnished.

Upper floors remain unfinished, lacking plastering and essential installations

Absence of wardrobes and other basic residential features.

Elevator shafts are empty, posing significant safety hazards.
“The structure at Ogurube Layout will be converted into a five-star hotel. Governor Otti is a responsible leader who will not allow state resources to be wasted,” Kanu stated.
Governor Otti has also directed the construction of a new Government House at the site of the former official residence, aiming to provide a functional and safe environment for state affairs
