Only Atiku can fix Nigeria – Arewa group
The Director General, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Presidential Campaign Council in Kwara state, Dr Mahmud Ajeigbe, and President Arewa support group, Idris Yakubu, have said that only an Atiku presidency can fix Nigeria.
Ajeigbe said Nigeria deserves the presidential candidate of the party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as next President in 2023 based on his clamour for a restructured, safer and better nation.

The duo spoke in Ilorin at a stakeholders’ parley tagged “Arewa Decides 2023”, which was convened by a youth activist, Ambassador Iliyas Akanbi, to mobilize support for the realisation of Atiku’s presidential ambition and PDP candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Others, who spoke at the forum including the PDP House of Representatives candidate for Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, said the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government at all levels has failed Nigeria and it should be voted out for PDP to carry out its rescue mission.
Ajeigbe, however, expressed optimism that the country would be recovered and made to work again for the benefit of all if PDP is elected in the forthcoming polls.
“Only an Atiku’s presidency can take on the task of resetting and reprogramming this great nation back on course and make Nigeria greater,” he said.
Yakubu for his part announced that the Arewa group just like it did in 2015, has endorsed Atiku for presidency “because he is most experienced and has the spread ” to win elections of all the contenders for the presidency .
He said the group which cut across the 19 northern states will work for the victory of Atiku just like it did for president Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 but regretted that the APC government had failed the country.
The convener of the parley, Ambassador Akanbi, identified the PDP presidential candidate as a unifier, who deserves maximum support of every Nigerian.
