A 55-year-old woman, identified as Ifeoma, reportedly collapsed and died while sharing a testimony at a church in the Ejigbo area of Lagos State.

The spokesperson for the state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that the woman was rushed to a nearby hospital, but was later referred to the General Hospital in Isolo, where she was pronounced dead.
Hundeyin explained, “The zonal accountant of the church came to the station and reported that during testimony hour, Ifeoma suddenly slumped while singing. She was taken to the hospital but was declared dead.”
It was further gathered that the family of the deceased had taken her remains to Anambra State for burial.
In a related incident earlier this year, a 30-year-old man reportedly drowned while praying at Elegushi Beach in Lagos.
