“I don’t go to movie locations anymore because the money they are offering is not encouraging at all,” Baba Wande explained. “I was offered a role in two states with a payment of 70,000 naira. There is no way I can take that amount, especially with the current situation of the country, considering the price of fuel at the moment.”
Baba Wande emphasized that his decision to leave acting was driven by the lack of fair compensation for the work required, and he expressed his dissatisfaction with how actors are undervalued in the industry.
