While reacting to Afenifere’s constant call for the restructuring of the country, and that since Tinubu became the President, Afenifere has not reminded him of restructuring like the days of Buhari.

Omololu said that he is concerned a little that this government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will not take restructuring seriously.

He said, “I will say that is their direction. Let us remember that they are the ones who included restructuring in the APC manifesto, and then we heard that President (Muhammadu) Buhari said they were not going to touch it because it was Afenifere’s manifesto, and that Asiwaju and his people were pushing it.”

Further talking, he said, “When I say statutory, it has to have legislative backing. In the 2014 confab, I think the President was told to push it to the National Assembly (NASS) for the benefit of what is called restructuring or rearrangement.
