Reno Omokri Slams Peter Obi And An Obidient
Dear Joseph,
Thank you for your feedback.
I supported Waziri Atiku Abubakar and rejected Peter Obi, which is my democratic choice. It does not make me evil. And supporting Peter Obi does not make you good.
I had cause to tell Peter privately, both verbally and in writing, that if he ran, he would not win, and the effect of his running would be to weaken the PDP and make it possible for the APC to win by default.
Besides, when you are not blinded by ethnic sentiments, it becomes clear to see, that, like I said during the campaign, Peter Obi is the least qualified of the major Presidential candidates.
In terms of education, Peter Obi is at the bottom of the barrel, with his second-class degree in Philosophy. You can’t compare him to a PhD in Water Engineering (Kwankwaso), a Master’s with Distinction in International Relations (Atiku) and a BSc in Accounting (Tinubu). Joseph, have the fear of God and answer this question-am I lying?…………………..CONTINUE READING
In terms of achievements in office, as vice President, Waziri Atiku led the National Economic Council, which paid off our entire foreign debt to the Bretton Woods institution and gave us a 7% GDP consistent annual growth rate. As Governor, Tinuhu built new cities from scratch, ports, rail infrastructure, roads, hospitals l, industries, independent power stations, paid civil servants, and mentored men like Osinbajo, Fashola, Aregbesola, Fayemi, Akabueze and co, who are now movers and shakers. He also increased Lagos’s internally generated revenue by 360%.
In contrast, when asked about his flagship achievement in office, Peter Obi pointed to a brewery, which has been proven to be a loss-making enterprise. Although he invested in schools already built, for which I applaud him, he did not build a single new school.
Furthermore, as Governor of Anambra, Peter saved the equivalent of $50 million of Anambra state money in banks in which he had a personal interest, including Fidelity Bank, to be precise. A bank in which he had significant interests. A bank where he was a former chairman.
In a year, that money will yield at least $5 million when invested in the S&P 500 (likely more). Much of that $5 million annual yield would be Peter Obi’s PERSONAL profit. And that is every year. So, imagine how much money Peter Obi personally made in eight years as a Governor from the conflict of interest in investing state funds in his private bank. No wonder he boasted of being richer than President Biden!
And then you guys are here, pillorying Tinubu for benefitting from Lagos money through Alphabeta. That is even better than what Peter Obi did. Alphabeta gave valuable service. Peter Obi did not attempt to cover his. It was blatant!
But the reason your comment is especially contrarian is because Peter Obi is the single largest individual importer of foreign goods into Nigeria. How can I be promoting made-in-Nigeria and supporting a babanla importer?
Thanks again, and may God bless you.
