BBNaija season 7 reality TV star and winner, Phyna has narrated how she started working in her aunt’s restaurant from a tender age.
She opened up in an interview with Nollywood actress, Nancy Isime on her show, the Nancy Isime show, and stated that growing up was not easy for her, and she was given out to her aunt at the age of 3 years.
She said: “Growing up for me wasn’t really easy. Let me start from scratch. I actually grew up with my aunt; my dad’s elder sister. And my aunt sells food, it’s a restaurant. Now imagine a young girl in a restaurant at a very tender age. I was given to my aunt at 3. 3, I was already in a restaurant serving more of men…”
Phyna also disclosed that her father had an accident when she was in jss3, so she had to be with him and follow him to different hospitals, and it cost her 2 years from school, but she refused to start from where she stopped. Rather, she joined her mates in ss3 after writing and passing series of exams.
The reality TV star also revealed how she had to start hustling when it became difficult for her family to continue training her in school. She continued the hustle till her NYSC period and that was when she took interest in hyping after seeing a hype man doing it in a club. She also explained how she still hustles now post BBNaija as she stated that her friends tell her she doesn’t hustle like she won money.
