A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, and a former Executive secretary of Ojodu Local Council development area, Mallam Ahmed Moyosore Jaji has alleged that INEC had stunned the opposition political parties by deciding not to upload results to the IReV in the Presidential election. He said in an interview with Sun paper that the electoral commission got the information that the IReV will be hacked and results will be manipulated. According to him, the ruling party has evidence of how major leaders of the other political parties planned to circumvent the process.
He said, ”Intelligence reports suggests that there were sinister plots to manipulate the Bimodal voters accreditation system [BVAS] by some political parties. So that whatever INEC uploads to the IReV, the BVAS will download different things that will favor those behind the manipulation. There is an audio tape where some principal leaders were discussing how to beat the system before the election. We are not surprised by how the opposition reacted, what INEC did was a surprise.”
