In a tweet that was made by Kenneth Okonkwo, who happens to be the official spokesperson to the Labour Party’s presidential campaign council for the 2023 presidential election, he has revealed the outcome of the last court session at the Election Tribunal in Abuja.
In a tweet he made on his Twitter, he said that when Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima opened their case at the Presidential Election Petition Court on Wednesday, they tendered their documents and included the academic qualification of the president from the Chicago State University.
He said the petitioners (LP) objected to it but, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, did not object it, as the academic qualification was admitted as evidence by the court.
He said, “The 2nd (Tinubu) and 3rd (Shettima) Respondents opened their case at the Presidential Election Petition Court today. They tendered some of their ctc documents, including the claimed academic qualification from Chicago State University from the Bar, which the Petitioners objected to, but which INEC unsurprisingly didn’t object to.”
Further talking, he said, “They were admitted in evidence. The Petitioners didn’t object to the ctc of INEC results tendered by the 2nd and 3rd Respondents in line with earlier agreement reached by all parties during the pre-hearing proceeding.”
