Dele Henry Alake, the president’s press secretary, spoke to the media a long time ago and explained why Olisa Metuh and Senator Anyim Pius Anyim visited his principal at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.
According to Dele Henry Alake, “our president has an open door policy where, despite differences, he listens to whoever has good advice on how to move the country forward,” which is why he met with Olisa Metuh and Pius Anyim, members of the opposition party.
Dele Henry Alake said, “President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a unifier. That’s another issue here. The People’s Democratic Party’s former national publicity secretary, Olisa Metuh, and Pius Anyim came to thank the president for his successful effort that put Nigeria back on the international scene.
Dele Henry Alake concluded by saying, “It is no longer news that we have gotten such accolades from many corners of the world. We should be grateful to Olisa Metuh and Pius Anyim for expressing the truth in public because there are some opposition party members who have the courage to recognise this fact.
