It is widely known that since assuming office as the president of Nigeria, Tinubu has been actively assembling his team. He has already appointed key positions such as his chief of staff, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), the National Security Adviser (NSA), and several others. Additionally, Tinubu has made changes to the leadership of institutions such as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

However, there has been criticism regarding the selection process for ministerial appointments. Bwala argued that if the inclusion of former governors in Tinubu’s cabinet exceeds 10% of the overall composition, it would indicate a lack of vision and plans for the country.
